Geoff Burns (@geoffreyburns) is a quality researcher from the School of Kinesiology, University of Michigan, who has recently published a brace of very thought provoking papers.
He has done it again with a new paper entitled Bouncing behavior of sub-four minute milers Scientific Reports volume 11, Article number: 10501 (2021)
In it he proposes “Elite middle distance runners exhibited distinct systemic spring-mass behavior across a wide spectrum of running speeds as compared to a group of competitive, yet sub-elite counterparts.”
