The Latest on Morton’s Neuroma: A New and Better Diagnostic Test?

Morton’s Neuroma is more than just a pesky annoyance. At its worst it can be excruciating and very limiting in terms of sport or even daily living. I have seen a rash of these lately and so decided to take a look at the latest on this common condition.

Haven’t the simple clinical tests shown to be equal to if not better than US or MRI and why would you use an invasive test like this when the sensitivity and specificity of the clinical tests is so high? Waiting with baited breath for Dave Cashley’s PhD on manipulation of the third mtpj as a treatment for neuroma – he makes a compelling case for this.
